Richard Bonney was Professor of Modern History at the University of Leicester for 22 years between 1984 and 2006 and has worked for more than fifteen years in Leicester towards enhancing religious and cultural harmony while respecting diversity. He has been a non-stipendiary priest in the Church of England since 1997.
